India Attacked

It’s yet again. Several round of explosives bursting straight into the ‘dil’ (Dilli - Delhi) of Mother India. It’s going to be a repeat of same old political ritual in its aftermath. After leaking few drops of crocodile tears, our leaders would start preparing ground, how to be the first in giving patronage to ……….no you are wrong……not to the victims, but to the perpetrators and derive political mileage in the upcoming elections. The attacker, if caught, is going to be yet another chief guest in Tihar jail, joining his predecessor Afjal Guru, the death sentenced criminal who attacked parliament. He is not going to receive even 10-15 lashes, the lowest severity level of punishment awarded to a person for consuming alcohol in Saudi Arabia. Which other country can offer such a fertile land for these barbarians to showcase their heinous doctrine of annihilation?

But this had been our old Indian ethos dating back to thousand of years. Jaichand invites Ghori to defeat Chauhan. Rana Sanga calls in Babar to destroy his local neighbours hoping that Babar would go back after looting Indian wealth, like Ghori/ Ghazani/ Changej Khan/ Taimur/ Nadirshah/ Mangols/ Hoons, leaving the soil for him to rule. Devnagari Aryavart was blessed with natural shield, ocean covering half of the circle in south and Great Himalayas guarding the northern frontiers. Just one small patch got left by mistake, the notorious Khyber Pass, at the boundary of Pakistan-Afghanistan. All the foreign invaders took this narrow pass to reach India. And our old Indian Kings could not deploy a small contingent of unified army to plug this small Khyber hole. The result, this dil of India ‘Delhi’ started getting ‘used to’ be ravaged repeatedly. Who can forget Nadirshah’s farman of massacring innocent men/ women/ children for 3 continuous days in the whole of Delhi.

India was ruled by these foreign Mughals for almost a thousand year. Its development in the fields of science & technology was stalled all through. They were only busy making forts, increasing the strength of harems or building Tajmahal in lust of a departed lover. Otherwise who can forget Bhaskaracharya, Shridharacharya, Aryabhatt, Charak, Shushruta, Jantar-Mantar maze of Jaipur & Delhi and Vedic mathematics? Who can deny the existence of a fully developed medical science in the form of Ayurveda with no side effect? Indian physicians excelled in pharmacopoeia, caesarean section, bone setting, and skin grafting. Not even 10% of Ayurveda is retrievable now but still able to create magic in some diseases. We lost 99% of our valuable documents in the destruction of Nalanda University, temples, palaces etc. Majority of our knowledge was not even documented. They used to memorize everything including Vedas and simply pass on to next generation.

But none of us, be it leaders or media or textbooks or Bollywood movies have the guts to denounce Mughals. For them only British were the main villains. We only talk of them ruining us & taking away all our wealth, all that we have been taught since nursery level. But have we ever tried to think otherwise? Only British could give us a unified India which was otherwise having thousands of princely states. Only they could liberate us from Mughals. They did not destroy our heritage; temple, palace, fort, religious document. How much money, manpower and resources India would need if asked to build a railway network that we inherited? Indian postal network right up to your door step at so low price is unparalleled in the world. They gave us the modern education system which equips the society to grow; otherwise we all would have been practicing Madarsa education, still followed in many parts of the world. They did not give us electrical power network and so we are still struggling to receive non-stop supply after 60 years of independence.

Now same old barbarians are trying to resurface and recapture us. And this time not just one or two Jaichand & Vibhisan but entire gang of Congress, Mulayam, Mayawati, Laloo, CPM are ready to embrace them with open arms. We have almost lost Kashmir by succumbing to selective ethnic cleansing. Time is not far when we’ll have no place for us to run away. Else accept slavery again and then wait for another British.

What is the solution? Democracy has flopped। Should the army take over? But that system also did not help our neighbours. Pakistan and B’desh are even worse. Why democracy is successful in USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany etc but not in India, Pak, B’desh, Shrilanka, Nepal? Even monopolistic communism is fine in China.
